Why the name "Habitual Gourmet" ? 

What comes to your mind when you hear the word "gourmet"? Is it something along the lines of a multiple-course meal at a fancy restaurant? The definition of gourmet is "connoisseur of good food", so why associate gourmet with pricey dishes from extravagant restaurants, that are usually made from exotic ingredients?

 

We want to reconnect the perception of gourmet to its true meaning.

Sharing a well-balanced, flavorful, home-cooked meal, using seemingly ordinary kitchen ingredients, with your loved ones can also be gourmet. Our creations help enrich your daily meals making you a habitual gourmet.

MEET OUR FOUNDERS!

With tiny hands on the ladle and eyes wide with excitement, we would patiently wait for the boiling instant noodles to cook and enter our hungry tummies. What started as experiments in the kitchen evolved into a passion for making delightful, flavorsome dishes - trying new recipes to share with family and friends and making the best memories cooking together. It's been 15 years, and we haven't looked back. 

 

As we grew into adulthood and lived away from home, we resorted to shortcuts/aides to have quick daily meals. Looking for products that could cut cooking time while satisfying our well-developed palate, we realized that most products in the market didn't have the quality of taste we were used to. Also, the truckload of preservatives, additives, artificial synthesizers, and other chemicals was an immediate NO for us.

 

Habitual Gourmet was born from our love for having more than just dal chawal daily and our need to eat healthy and fresh food. Through this venture, we bring organic, handcrafted, artisanal dips and spreads to help you make quick meals even on your busiest days - letting you eat healthy without compromising on taste.
